Aero Step is our high-energy, rhythmic Aerobics class that combines elements of strength, fitness and flexibility training. Great music, great energy, and great people combine to produce an experience that burns fat and dramatically increases your fitness levels.
What is Aero Step?
Aero Step is a group fitness class that offers all the great cardio and toning benefits of an Aerobics class, but also offers the increased strength and lean muscle building benefits of body weight resistance training and fitness training.
When you engage the big muscle groups that facilitate movements like stepping on a platform and squatting, you’re burning fat at a faster rate and developing strength in those muscle groups. The stretching elements of the class increase your flexibility and improve mobility.
How does Aero Step work?
The Instructor-led class begins with a warm-up that allows you to ease into the workout that lies ahead.
There’s great music to get you in the flow, and the group dynamic kicks in to raise your intensity up a notch.
Your instructor leads you through each of the movements, demonstrating the correct form and level of intensity, making sure you’re engaging the right muscle groups and moving in sync with the routine. Not too fast, not too slow.
As you become familiar with the movements and routine, you find yourself letting go and allowing yourself to be immersed in the experience and embrace the experience.
45 minutes later, you’re feeling like a million bucks, energised, and roughly 700 calories lighter.
It’s a great way to burn fat, tone your whole body, build lean muscle and connect with our DBF fitness community.
Aero Step is currently only available at Dream Body Fitness Woodlands Office Park.
What if I’m new to gym?
Aero Step is a great way to begin your fitness and body transformation journey.
It can be intimidating walking into a group fitness class for the first time, but over 70% of our membership have been where you are. There’s a great sense of community in the classes, and you’ll find yourself being supported by the instructors and encouraged by your classmates. You’re no longer ‘new’, instead you’re a part of and energised by the Aero Step community.
Aero Step is designed to move at a pace that is challenging, yet within your capabilities. The music, the people you’re training with, being inspired by your goals all combines to give you that extra boost which drives you through the 45 minute class.
Aero Step is a great way for you to start building your fitness and strength, and they are a great way to meet and integrate into our DBF community.
You can ease off the pace throughout the class if you need to, but you’re also going to be stepping out of your comfort zone because that’s the dynamic of group fitness classes.
Before you know it, you’ll be connected, in tune, and in sync with everyone around you. Having fun, feeling great, and consistently achieving your body transformation goals every week.
