If you’re looking for a conditioning workout that burns fat, builds lean muscle strength, and conditions your body for optimum performance, Body Conditioning is a great fit for you.
What is Body Conditioning?
Body Conditioning is a group fitness boxing workout that incorporates plyometric workouts, high-intensity interval training, and functional fitness conditioning throughout the workout.
Body Conditioning is about building strength, endurance, stamina and cardiovascular fitness. It focuses on conditioning your body for optimal performance in fitness and strength training down the line. It promotes weight loss and fat burning, but it’s core focus is on conditioning muscle groups for increased strength and fitness levels.
Whilst the class is designed to be intense, it’s also designed to meet you where you’re at. Your goal is conditioning and progression rather than ultra-high performance, so you’re moving outside of your comfort zone but within your capabilities.
How does Body Conditioning work?
Body Conditioning is an instructor-led, group fitness workout so all you need is to show up on the day.
The fitness instructors lead you through the workout, demonstrating each movement and guiding you through the repetitions and sets planned for the day.
Throughout the workout, instructors are helping you with your form and making sure that you’re achieving your strength and fitness goals safely and effectively. Body conditioning is a vital element of future strength and fitness training, and as such, it isn’t about pushing you beyond your limits. It is, instead, about helping you shift those limits.
It’s a dynamic experience but the workout itself is designed and structured in a way that allows you to move you at your own pace, according to your current fitness and strength level. If you need a moment to take a breather, that’s fine. You won’t be disrupting the class.
The workouts are designed to help you progress on your body transformation and fitness journey, and are great to include in your workout schedule for the week.
What if I’m new to gym?
Over 70% of our membership have been where you are. They know what it’s like to walk into a class with equal parts fear and excitement.
Fear that you don’t have the strength and fitness to make it through the workout. Excitement because maybe you do.
Group fitness classes are a perfect way for you to start and they are a great way to meet and integrate into our DBF community. You’re going to be moving at your own pace throughout the class but you’re also going to be stepping that pace up out of your comfort zone because that’s the dynamic of group fitness classes.
The music, the people, being inspired by others. It all combines to give you that extra boost which drives you through the 45 minute class.
The Body Conditioning workouts are a great way to accelerate your body transformation goal achievement and we’d definitely recommend that you join one of the classes within the first 3 weeks of your fitness journey.
