Bootcamp is a mixture of indoor and outdoor workouts that burns fat ultra-fast, builds lean muscle strength, and dials your fitness up to NAVY SEAL level.
What is BootCamp?
Bootcamp is based on ‘military style’ fitness workouts that primarily use body weight resistance training, plyometric training and functional fitness training to get you into shape as quickly and effectively as possible.
Bootcamp grew in popularity over the past decade because of it’s great class dynamic, indoor and outdoor training elements, and the wide variety of exercise groups that are performed as a group.
Whilst the class is designed to be intense, it’s also designed to meet you where you’re at. You’re going to be pushed outside of your comfort zone, but at the same time, you’re going to be able to dial things down to stay within your capability.
How does BootCamp work?
BootCamp is an instructor-led, group fitness class so all you need to do is show up on the day with your towel and some water.
The class begins with a warm-up session that conditions you for the work that lies ahead, and then moves into a series of exercises that dials your heart rate up and torches fat.
From push-ups to jumping jacks, body weight squats to kettlebell swings, all the way through to lunges and short sprints, you’ll be put through your paces in a structured, systematic way that is designed to grow your strength as effectively as it promotes weight loss.
It’s a dynamic experience but the workout itself is designed and structured in a way that allows you to move you at your own pace, according to your current fitness and strength level. If you need a moment to take a breather, that’s fine.

What if I’m new to gym?
Over 70% of our membership have been where you are. They know what it’s like to walk into a class with equal parts fear and excitement.
BootCamp is a great way to build your fitness fast, but we do recommend that you train for a few weeks before joining a bootcamp class. It is suitable for beginners, we’d just like you to be a power beginner and make sure that you’re conditioned and prepared for the intensity of the bootcamp class.
Group fitness classes are a perfect way for you to ignite your fitness journey and they are a great way to integrate into our DBF community. You’re going to be moving at your own pace throughout the class but you’re also going to be stepping that pace up out of your comfort zone because that’s the dynamic of group fitness classes.
The music, the people, being inspired by others. It all combines to give you that extra boost which drives you through the 45 minute class.
